So Mazda has apparently decided to take a different approach when it comes to model cycles than they have in the past.
“Mazda is striving to become an irreplaceable presence in the lives of our customers, to create a special bond with them and to be a ‘one-and-only’ brand they will choose again and again. In order to do that, we will continue updating our models with next-generation technologies based on our human-centered development philosophy, without concern for the timing of redesigns.”
-Masamichi Kogai, Mazda’s President and CEO.
Oddly enough, I could get used to this.

Finally a manufacturer that gets that electronics and digital tech evolve a lot quicker than a car’s lifecycle. I guess customers will have to adapt the most though.
